S/Y Zalmon

Zalmon is a 40m sailing yacht, built by Alloy Yachts. 

Danny worked onboard as an Engineer during an extensive refit to bring the boat back into operation after being laid up for 4 years.

During this time, some of the jobs undertaken were:

• Removal, service and reinstallation of:

  1. • 6 captive winches

     • Windlasses

     • Steering assembly

     • All deck hatches and hardware

     • Vast majority of engine room equipment such as valves, motors, pumps, plumbing etc

• Large amounts of electrical, electronic and PLC work throughout the boat, installing and upgrading systems and components
