Throughout the 5 month refit here in Antigua, we have serviced and upgraded many systems throughout the boat.
Countless electrical gremlins have been found and fixed
Main engines removed to facilitate access to sail drive units. Engines were fully serviced including oils and filters, coolers, thermostats, rear main seals, turbos rebuilt, belts replaced and given a general clean and paint touch up as well as replacing any tired looking hoses, clips etc. before reinstallation
All air conditioning units removed, cleaned and reinstalled with improved plumbing components and routing. All plumbing and electrical connections made to be "quick release" for easy removal before racing
Through hull fittings removed, serviced and reinstalled with new sea strainers and improved hose routing
Water maker and associated components reinstalled with "quick release" mounting to make for easy removal before racing.
24v Dometic chest freezer installed
Steering gear removed, serviced and reinstalled
Extensive replacement of faulty LED lighting and wiring throughout the boats interior, exterior and rigging
New sound system installed including head unit, amp, sub, speakers and new cabling throughout
Bow locker refitted as temporary cabin. Installed deckhead lighting, fan, usb charger and reading light
Rewiring and plumbing of all bilge pumps on board
New fresh water pumps, accumulators and pipework installed
Hot water cylinders overhauled
Many interior hinges, latches, slides etc adjusted to function correctly
Autopilot units rebuilt
Installation of new anchor windlass
General tidying and organising of cabling throughout the boat, making future fault finding and tracing much easier
